The application is designed for bus drivers, catering specifically to public transportation companies. Our client’s customers are public transit organizations, and their drivers utilize the app to manage their work schedules effectively. The app allows drivers to view upcoming shifts, receive notifications about shift changes, and access payroll information, among other functionalities. This tool aims to enhance operational efficiency and streamline communication between the drivers and their respective companies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional react native development;
• Experience with mobile app development (e.g. cross-platform frameworks or native app development);
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes;
• Strong understanding of web application architecture;
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Eagerness to learn, desire to mentor other team members;
• Willingness to participate in a culture of open and friendly feedback amongst your peers. We can’t wait to have your constructive input on how we can work better as a team;
• Being based in, or willing to relocate to, a timezone between UTC+0 and UTC+3;
• Spoken English skills — your level should be no lower than Upper-Intermediate.

Will be a plus

• Experience with client-side development (e.g. React/React Native, Angular, Vue);
• Experience with server-side development (e.g. Node.js, Python, Java);
• Experience with deploying mobile apps to app stores;
• Experience with AWS or an alternative cloud environment;
• Experience in the public transport ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Further improvement on a React Native app (deployed to appstore/playstore);
• Collaborate with team to define and implement project requirements;
• Ensure the project meets all quality standards;
• Perform and follow code performance profiling to optimize application speed and efficiency;
• Debug and troubleshoot any issues that arise during development.
