On behalf of Vodori, GT is looking to hire a Senior QA Automation Engineer.

Hello! Meet Scott Rovegno who is the co-founder and CEO. And Grant Gochnauer, Co-Founder & CTO at Vodori.
Here is a welcome video from the CEO — bit.ly/2WIFdbd. We hope you’ll enjoy it :)

About Vodori:

Vodori (Chicago, US) is an innovative disruptor providing software solutions to the life sciences industry with a primary focus on commercial sales and marketing processes. They have an existing portfolio of products — Pepper Flow, Pepper Insight, Pepper Folio, and an underlying Platform product — with a strong existing client base like some of the members of Fortune 500 Pharmaceuticals Companies.

The solutions ensure that effective compliant selling processes are followed by sales and marketing teams when dealing with healthcare practitioners and ensure that relevant content is available in a flexible, secure, validated, and cost-effective manner by teams globally. An existing competitor is well established in this sector in the life sciences industry (Veeva), but Vodori is well-positioned to disrupt their position of market dominance through offering cost-effective and flexible solutions to the small and medium players in the industry and over time competing for the major Big pharma companies business as well.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

  • 4+ years experience in web software development and/or software quality assurance.
  • 2+ years experience with browser test automation using modern JavaScript test frameworks such as Cypress.io, Mocha JS, or similar.
  • Deep familiarity with requirements and test case management processes for large/complex software systems. Experience with TDD/BDD principles and Cucumber.io is a huge plus.
  • Foundational understanding of web application architecture and design concepts, data models, APIs, and web services.
  • Experience or knowledge testing Java (our backend technology), AngularJS, or Clojure applications is a plus.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Inquisitive and solution-oriented, with a desire to continuously improve our software and our processes.

The main scope of work:

  • You will develop our automation test strategy from scratch: choosing technologies, ensuring completeness and usability, and translating it to business.
  • At first, it will be 50/50 manual and automation
  • An ability to perform acceptance testing of new features, and identify and test edge cases in a highly configurable environment where automation is not always practical
  • Add automated testing for activities such as API testing, and UI verification
  • Design, execute and maintain test scenarios for a variety of software applications, services, and third-party integrations.
  • Scale and maintain a growing suite of automated functional and visual regression tests.
  • Perform grey box / white box acceptance testing for new feature development.
  • Conduct skilled exploratory testing to reveal likely edge cases and system limitationsIdentify, diagnose, and triage software issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, engineering, customer success, and product management to understand business requirements and anticipate future states.
  • Participate in code reviews to promote quality and maintainability standards.

You will work with the same tools and technologies as they do and communicate directly with a client without any intermediary in between. Our clients usually (before the pandemic) came for a week each month and spend a lot of time with the team in Kyiv. We also encourage trips to a client and joint teambuilding and after-work activities.

Take care of the office, payroll, taxes, and other important things.
