We’re looking for a Frontend Tech Lead who will take full ownership of frontend architecture and drive the evolution of a core product from the ground up.
This is not a “feature delivery” role. This is a high-impact architectural position where you’ll redesign and rebuild an existing system with extreme focus on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.

About the client
A fast-growing, VC-backed startup building a collaborative GenAI platform that enables gaming companies to generate and scale content from a single prompt.
The company operates in a high-velocity startup environment and focuses on performance-heavy, interactive frontend systems.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in React + TypeScript
• Strong hands-on experience with Canvas/WebGL rendering engines
• Strong Python knowledge (required for backend integration and architectural decision-making)
• Deep understanding of BE-FE communication
• Experience working with RDBMS (PostgreSQL mandatory)
• Experience designing production systems from scratch
• Startup experience
• Advanced English level

Strong Advantages:

• Experience with Vite and Pnpm
• Headless UI architecture (Base-UI, Shadcn)
• Storybook and Figma synchronization workflows
• Experience implementing advanced UI patterns (e.g., Infinite Grid)
• Experience with DynamoDB or Milvus
• OpenAPI TypeScript (type-safe API contracts)
• AI tooling experience (Cursor or AI-powered IDEs)
• Experience integrating AI/LLM features

Responsibilities:

• Architect and redesign the frontend system
• Rebuild key components with scalability in mind
• Optimize rendering performance
• Implement complex interactive UI features
• Define frontend architectural standards
• Ensure type-safe backend integration
• Monitor and improve production performance
• Handle production issues and debugging
• Collaborate closely with PM, Team Lead, and developers
