About the client

The company works together with customers who manufacture, have a web-based shop or have wholesale activities. Frequently, these companies experience difficulties keeping an overview on their logistics processes. They lack control over their stock integrity and traceability of their products, or they find it hard to keep track of the productivity of the resources within their facilities.

By using our their software deployment approach, their customers gain control over their own processes. However, remain independent of their WMS software supplier. Changes in other software solutions tend to take a long time, are costly and come with a high degree of uncertainty. With their WMS platform, these problems belong to the past. The customers are able to focus on their clients and grow their business, while staying in control of their processes.

Requirements

• Familiar with Windows Server
• Familiar with Cloud servers
• Basic knowledge of SQL (to run simple SQL scripts)
• Advanced DBA skills is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Android
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Putty/Telnet
• Knowledge of firewalls
• Can write emails in English informing customers about planning and execution of maintenance activities

Responsibilities

• Keeping windows up to date
• Maintaining backups of databases on backup server
• Maintaining/upgrading/adding Cloud servers /services
• Installing and updating software/applications
• Installing and updating employee workstations (remote)
• Actively monitoring server (CPU/network/storage/etc.) and services (uptime/disruptions)
• Installing Printers/Print node/ETC for customers
• Maintain user accounts and setting them up (Active Directory)
• Upgrading clients software
