Giftcards Group is working to become the biggest gift card provider in the Netherlands. Our daily operations are based in the Netherlands, but our in-house development team is located in Ukraine. We are also expanding into the United Kingdom, Belgium, and other European markets.

About the Role:

Are you a skilled developer with experience Drupal 8-10, and Symfony? Do you have a deep understanding of Drupal API’s? We’re looking for a Drupal Team Lead who is not only an expert in coding but also a great mentor and communicator who thrives in a team environment.
Besides reviewing peer-to-peer code and providing critical yet constructive feedback, you will lead a team of developers, build modules with third-party API integrations, and ensure best practices are followed. We need a proactive team player who can analyze gaps in their skills and continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Drupal developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
• Write well-documented, readable code and enforce best coding practices.
• Analyze project requirements and propose corresponding solutions.
• Architect, develop, and maintain Drupal-based applications for high performance and scalability.
• Review peer-to-peer code and provide insightful, constructive feedback.
• Estimate tasks and provide accurate time estimates.
• Work closely with colleagues and product owners to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Ensure seamless third-party API integrations.
• Maintain Drupal applications, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay up-to-date with Drupal advancements and apply best practices.
• 2 days per month be online in early morning to maintain deployments to production

What We Ask from You:

• Strong experience with PHP/PHP frameworks.
• Proven experience in Drupal 8-10/Symfony development
• Commerce 2 experience at least 1 year.
• Team Lead experience in Drupal Team — at least 1 year.
• Familiarity with third-party API integrations.
• Understanding of REST, or GraphQL would be a plus
• Ability to review peer-to-peer code and enforce best practices.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior developers and guide the team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Good knowledge of English, ability to express yourself fluently (speaking, writing)
