Middle QA Engineer - PLC/GDK (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team in Kharkiv!

The Middle QA Engineer contributes to GeoComply’s success by developing automated tests on Python and RobotFramework and reporting on the quality assurance of our software to ensure applications are functional and provide a great user experience for all of our customers in the PLC/GDK team.

You have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role. You possess high knowledge of manual and automated testing principles and object-oriented programming. You enjoy working in collaborative teams and have good communication and interpersonal skills. You are a fast learner, highly analytical, detail-oriented and able to work under tight timelines.

Skills and qualifications:
— Experience with Python and Bash scripting languages;
— 2+ years of experience of writing automated tests using any xUnit framework (pytest, Unittest);
— Experience with continuous integration/delivery processes (Jenkins);
— Experience using version control systems such as Git;
— Experience with macOS and Windows from a desktop application testing perspective;
— Knowledge of different communication protocols (WebSocket, HTTPS, etc);
— Knowledge of test design techniques and best practices of software testing;
— Intermediate written and spoken technical English enough to discuss issues with teams remotely.

— Automation of regression testing of existing products;
— Create and maintain test cases and test suites based on product requirements and test plans;
— Create and maintain RobotFramework tests;
— Refactor and improve existing test framework;
— Take the initiative to identify issues and escalate accordingly.
