Middle PHP Developer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Middle PHP Developer to join our Kharkiv team!

The Middle PHP Developer contributes to GeoComply’s success by developing and maintaining GeoComply products as assigned by the Product Manager. This position contributes to the implementation process of features and solutions and maintains open communication with the Product Manager and QA.

Our ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in PHP development and good knowledge of front-end technologies. You possess strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns. You are able to interact daily with systems that are used in professional software development such as JIRA and Git.

You have experience working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and have a great passion working in agile development process environments, as well as working on long-term features and taking responsibility for the job. You are a fast learner, solutions-oriented, and are able to work within agreed upon timelines.

Skills and qualifications:
— Intermediate knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony)
— Intermediate knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript (JQuery)
— Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript (Node JS)
— Experience with micro services architecture is considered as an asset
— Experience with DB (MySQL)
— Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) is an asset
— Intermediate English level (reading, verbal, and written)
— Experience with high load projects would be a plus
— Experience with microservices architecture would be a plus

— Working on the existing project, which is written using Laravel, components of Symfony framework and NodeJS
— Researching new features, analyzing requirements, estimating implementation, designing software, performing code reviews, and documenting solutions
— Designing solutions, taking nonfunctional and operational requirements in consideration
— Working with unit tests to cover the functionality
— Close communication with the QA team
— Close communication with the DevOps team
