We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Kharkiv team!

The HR Business Partner, Ukraine, contributes to GeoComply’s success by providing general HR support to employees in the Ukraine office. This role will perform all HR administrative and operational responsibilities for that office. The HR Business Partner will report to Senior HR Manager, Ukraine and HR Director and will work closely with the other team members in Canada and Vietnam. This role functions to execute policies, programs, and processes in line with our workplace culture and values.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in HR in the IT industry and good knowledge of best HR practices in this sphere. You like to create and support a positive professional atmosphere within the office teams; also you like to create structured documents and keep them updated; hold performance reviews, hold one to one meetings and resolve possible issues.

You have experience working in a middle or huge IT Company and you would like to work in an international product company. You are a fast learner, solutions-oriented and are able to work within agreed-upon processes.

Skills and qualifications:
— 2+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist preferred
— Completion of training or post-secondary education in HR or business administration is an asset
— In-depth knowledge of Ukraine labour laws
— Ability to maintain confidentiality, build trust and use sound judgment
— Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people across different locations, cultures and levels within the company
— Good problem solving and conflict management skills
— Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
— Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Google Drive
— Process-oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
— Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
— Experience working within the IT industry
— Intermediate wrote and spoken English enough to discuss issues with teams remotely

Обов’язки

— Understand the company’s goals and purposes so as to continue to enhance the company’s performance
— Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations applicable to people management and employment including labour laws and standards, privacy, human rights, etc.
— Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s technologies, process and teams
— Work with the Global Talent Acquisition Lead and local internal recruiter, participate in interview processes (including preparation of interview questions, coordinating testing as required, etc.), offers and negotiations, preparing Job Offers, etc.
— Facilitate the employee onboarding and orientation processes and programs locally; working with the Senior HR Manager and other HR teams to continuously improve the onboarding process to ensure a new employee success in their role and the company overall
— Support managers in coaching and mentoring employees on a regular basis; address and resolve employee concerns and issues; provide advice and counsel employees and supervisors
— Support managers across the company to improve employee engagement and development; Work with managers and employees on individual development plans; proactively identify potential issues, coaching and supporting managers and employees towards solutions, and identifying areas of opportunity for training and development
— Promote company values so all employees contribute to building our company culture
— Manage enrollment for all employees into the Health Insurance program and assist them as needed
— Support the Senior HR Manager in planning and facilitating team activities and events
— Build initiatives in the Ukraine office and work on HR projects as assigned; encouraging a team-focused and collaborative work environment; coordinating with other HR team members across the whole Company.
— Maintain accurate data and files in our HRIS updating personal information, etc.
— Ensure all Ukraine employees are using our HRIS on a regular basis (including leave tracking)
— Assist with performance management as required
— Work with the Training and Development Lead to help organize employee training, research and recommend all-staff training and individual employee training as needed.
— Assist the corporate travel manager with travel arrangements and visa processes as required
— Participate in employee relations meetings as directed by the HR Director
— Facilitate offboarding processes in Ukraine office at the direction of the HR Director
— Respond to general HR inquiries and seek assistance from the Sr. HR Manager or HR Director as required
