About the project: Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:
● 3+ years of commercial experience in software engineering
● Design, develop, and maintain backend services primarily using Python
● Build and improve AI/LLM extraction workflows, including prompt design and structured output handling
● Develop and maintain evaluation harnesses that score model output against verified ground truth
● Diagnose accuracy regressions and improve results field by field, not just in aggregate
● Implement deterministic post-processing and validation logic around model output
● Build and maintain scraping and automation flows against external portals
● Support integration-heavy insurance and dental management workflows
● Contribute to voice agent workflows, including prompt composition and post-call processing
● Work within an existing architecture, contributing to technical discussions and validating approaches
● Participate in deployment and infrastructure discussions around Azure and Docker
● Work within a rapidly evolving startup environment with shifting priorities
● Maintain high responsiveness and close collaboration with the internal team
● Help retain and build domain-specific business context over long-term engagement
● English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

Technical Requirements:
● Solid backend engineering experience with Python, including async code and typed, testable modules
● Practical understanding of LLM integrations, prompt engineering, and AI workflow evaluation
● Experience with schema-constrained model output (tool/function calling or JSON schema)
● Experience measuring and improving model accuracy against ground truth datasets
● Experience working with PostgreSQL and SQL-based systems
● Experience with web scraping tools such as Playwright is beneficial
● Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure
● Experience with Docker/containerized deployments
● Exposure to voice agent technologies (e.g., Ultravox, Twilio, LiveKit, or similar) is a plus
● Experience with React is considered a plus
● Sound technical reasoning and willingness to question assumptions constructively

Preferred Profile:
● Pragmatic, adaptable engineer rather than a highly rigid “purist” mindset
● Comfortable balancing speed and quality in startup delivery environments
● Methodical and evidence-driven when tuning AI workflows rather than relying on intuition
● Comfortable working inside an established architecture and following existing conventions
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Experience in healthcare, dental, or insurance-related systems is beneficial but not mandatory
● Ability to work in long-term, context-heavy product environments where business logic evolves continuously
