Main Goal:
Review the existing end-to-end automation solution and optimize it to be faster, more reliable, and efficient. While rebuilding the automation framework and architecture, the engineer will maintain existing test suites and automate new product features.

Europe business hours. Remotely and full-time. Long-term cooperation

Project: Platform for buying software.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the current end-to-end automation framework for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and implement a new, efficient automation architecture aligned with product and CI/CD goals.
• Maintain and extend existing automated test suites, ensuring full regression and feature coverage.
• Develop automation for new features and integrate tests into continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality releases.
• Drive best practices in automation, code quality, and test strategy across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with: Java, Selenium, Selenide, Cucumber, Gherkin, Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Proven track record of building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Deep understanding of automation architecture and design principles, enabling efficient, scalable, and maintainable test solutions.
• Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• At least basic Spring knowledge is nice to have.
