As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend solutions that power our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

— Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and optimized APIs for high-load applications.
— Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Node.js (NestJS) code following best practices
— Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and reliable software solutions
— Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and system reliability
— Investigate and implement technical solutions to meet business needs and improve system performance
— Design and refine database structures using PostgreSQL, Redis, and message brokers like RabbitMQ
— Ensure data integrity and security across all backend systems
— Research and adopt new technologies and frameworks to enhance development efficiency
— Contribute to technical documentation, including system architecture and API specifications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with NestJS for building scalable backend applications
• Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with high-load applications and performance optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• Effective communication skills and a proactive mindset
• English level: Intermediate+ or proficiency in another language.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with AWS services and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of GitLab, TeamCity, ArgoCD, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Previous experience in Gambling/iGaming or similar high-load industries
• Experience in designing and optimizing database schemas for large-scale applications
