Required skills:
— Experience working as a SDR or lead generation for 0.5 year (this will be a great advantage);
— Excellent writing and speaking abilities (at least Upper Intermediate);
— Discipline: The role demands discipline in managing daily outreach tasks, maintaining records, and following up with leads consistently, excellent time management skills;
— Hunger to Learn: We value candidates who are eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic industry. Your enthusiasm for learning and improving will be a crucial asset. Staying up to date on the service knowledge, competitor landscape and trends;
— Adaptability: The software development industry is ever-evolving, and your ability to adapt to changes in technology and market trends will be appreciated;
— Empathy: Understanding the needs and challenges of potential clients, even without prior experience, is key to building meaningful relationships, strong business communication writing skills.
Nice to have skills:
— Understanding of sales pipeline management;
— experience working with CRMs (eg, HubSpot);
— experience working with email automation tools (eg, Reply.io), tools for data research (eg, Apollo.io, Snov.io);
— experience using LinkedIn for lead generation / communication with prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
— Lead Generation: As an SDR, you will learn to identify potential leads on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. You’ll use your burgeoning understanding of the software development industry to spot companies or individuals who could benefit from our services;
— Outreach and Engagement: You’ll be trained to initiate contact with leads through personalized messages, connection requests, and content sharing on LinkedIn. Crafting compelling messages that spark interest and initiate conversations will be a key part of your role;
— Lead Nurturing: Once you establish connections, you’ll engage in ongoing conversations to build rapport, educate prospects about the agency’s services, and address their pain points. This involves sending relevant content, case studies, and testimonials;
— Qualification: You’ll learn how to systematically qualify leads by evaluating their fit with our target customer profile. This includes assessing factors like budget, timeline, and decision-making authority;
— Appointment Setting: Your goal will be to secure discovery calls or meetings with qualified prospects. You’ll be trained to effectively communicate the value proposition of the agency’s services and set up appointments for the sales team;
— Pipeline Management: You’ll be guided on maintaining meticulous records of all interactions with leads using Hubspot CRM. Tracking progress, updating lead statuses, and facilitating a smooth handoff to the sales team will be part of your learning process;
— Collaboration: You’ll collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align messaging and strategies. Providing valuable feedback from your interactions with leads will help refine targeting and content creation;
— Implement effective sales processes for growing customer base and take initiative to suggest best practices.
