Frag Lab studio is a videogames development company based in Kiev and focused on next-gen AAA games creation. Our team of industry veterans is now working on a new revolutionary IP and we are looking for Technical Animator / Gameplay Animator who has a passion for working with complex animation systems, creating tools and animating good quality assets for our game.
• 3+ years in game development or similar area as tech or gameplay animator
• Deep knowledge of 3D modeling software (Maya and/or Motion Builder)
• Shipped products as technical or gameplay animator
• Experience with animation state machines and blend systems of any major game engine
• Ability to read and write documentation on English
• Good communication and writing skills
• Passion for making top quality games
• A quick learner

You will be a part of our animation team, but your primary role would be to work on rigging, creating in-game setup of our characters, setting up animation systems and assist on implementing new animation-related features and creating animation tools. A secondary role is to create animations (keyframe and mocap) for our characters, weapons, and environments.
You will be working directly with our animation lead, designers, and various content/programmers teams. Your background should include great technical skills (programming experience is a plus) and decent animation skills, deep understanding of rigging, ability to create believable character behaviors, understanding of game animation systems (animation state machines, blend trees, so on), understanding motion capture pipelines.
