Fractured Byte is a game development studio whose experience involves work on titles such as Borderlands: The Legendary Collection and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 for Nintendo Switch. We are a team of experienced professionals, focused on video game development for РC and consoles.
Responsibilities:
— Level design from idea to final assembly
— Build levels in UE4: from paper prototype to release quality
— Level Optimization
— Additionally: Light, Logic, AI.
Requirements:
— Experience as a Level Designer — 2+ years
— Understanding the mechanisms and tools of UE4
— Level profiling and optimization
— Understanding the principles of level design
— Technical Knowledge of levels in UE4 (streaming, sub-levels)
— Landscape, foliage, skybox, light settings
— Content integration into UE4
— Portfolio is a must-have.
A strong candidate has:
— Built several FPS levels from scratch to release-quality
— Proficient knowledge of Blueprints
— Experience with Content Creation Software (DCC)
— Related experience in game development (any other specializations)
— Experience with version control systems (e.g.: GIT, P4, SVN, etc)
— English: at least Intermediate.
