Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer with a strong background in data visualization, semantic modeling, and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Power BI development within a CI/CD environment, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and automated BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Build and maintain semantic models using Power BI datasets and Analysis Services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Power BI solutions using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Optimize DAX queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data visualizations.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews.
• Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query (M).
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
• Deep understanding of semantic models, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of DAX for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
