Legal Counsel (вакансія неактивна)

As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support strategic international projects and help drive the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the legal support of strategic infrastructure and investment projects, from due diligence through deal closing.
• Structure and support the establishment of Joint Ventures (JVs) with international partners.
• Advise on export control regulations and coordinate the legal aspects of obtaining customs and tax incentives for defense-related products.
• Draft, negotiate, and oversee the execution of complex international commercial agreements.
• Review and prepare commercial contracts, including international supply, services, and manufacturing agreements.
• Conduct legal risk assessments and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support executive management on strategic initiatives by preparing legal opinions, analytical memoranda, and recommendations.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the company’s operations and ensure ongoing legal compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Legal Counsel, Corporate Lawyer, or Legal Advisor in a commercial organization.
• Practical experience with corporate due diligence (KYC/KYB), including the use of business intelligence and sanctions screening tools.
• Experience obtaining licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and the ability to interpret complex legislation and translate legal requirements into practical business solutions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements from the ground up.
• Excellent legal drafting skills with the ability to communicate complex legal matters in a clear and business-friendly manner.
• Experience working with legal research platforms and electronic document management systems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the DefenseTech, MilitaryTech, Aerospace, or Manufacturing industries.
• Experience with customs regulations and international trade compliance.
• Knowledge of export control regulations applicable to defense products.
• Experience working with international counterparties and cross-border transactions.
