DRCT is a product company in the aviation industry. We enable travel sellers to book airline tickets directly through Lufthansa, Emirates, British Airways, and 40+ other airlines. We are IATA-certified and work with travel agencies across 10+ countries.
The aviation industry is transitioning to NDC, the new distribution standard. This means the interfaces travel agents have been using for the past 30 years are changing. We’re designing this new experience, and it has to be better than what thousands of professionals are used to — that’s our challenge.
For this role, strong UI skills are essential. We care deeply about visual quality, attention to detail, and crafting polished, high-quality interfaces.
— You have 3+ years of experience in design agencies, branding, or product design — with a portfolio that clearly demonstrates strong visual/UI craft
— You enjoy getting to the root of a problem instead of jumping straight into solutions
— You’re comfortable working with uncertainty and figuring things out as you go
— You explore multiple ideas before choosing the strongest solution
— You design around real user workflows, not just UI trends, and can explain when common patterns aren’t the best fit
— You already use AI tools to make your design process faster and better
— You’re happy to occasionally help with things like presentations or marketing visuals (although that’s only a small part of the role)
— Design and refine high-quality B2B web interfaces and Chrome Extensions
— Own the quality of the UI we deliver: typography, layouts, component states, consistency, and visual polish
— Build and evolve DRCT’s product design system
— Collaborate closely with the product team, another designer, developers, and customer support
— Shape the visual identity and ensure brand consistency across DRCT products
— Conduct research together with the Product Designer by talking to internal teams and travel agents, analyzing competitor solutions, and validating ideas through user feedback
— Fully remote work, with the option to work from our Kyiv office whenever you’d like
— 24 paid vacation days, paid public holidays, and 7 paid sick days without a medical certificate
— Quarterly performance bonuses on top of your base salary
— Corporate Apple equipment will be provided after the probation period, if needed
— Plenty of opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and learning
— Corporate English classes
— Confidential sessions with our corporate psychologist
— Annual company retreats and team-building events
— Minimal bureaucracy and no unnecessary meetings
— A team of experienced professionals who are always happy to share knowledge and support one another
