QA Engineer (Manual, AI-assisted)

Flexifai is an AI-driven payment platform (PSP) serving both high-risk and traditional industries. We process millions of transactions through 80+ payment methods, including cryptocurrency, across Africa, Europe, and LATAM. Our platform is built on a scalable microservices architecture with a strong focus on security, automation, and high availability.

Our team of 80+ professionals works in a hybrid format from offices in Kyiv, Lisbon, Limassol, and London, as well as remotely across the globe.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the high quality of Flexifai products — an international fintech company developing its own Payment Service Provider (PSP) platform.
You will be responsible for testing internal products, administrative panels, user portals, and services that support our international payment infrastructure. We actively use AI in our day-to-day work, so we expect an openness to modern tools and a willingness to automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web applications and internal services.
• Prepare and execute test cases, checklists, and regression testing.
• Perform smoke testing after releases.
• Test new functionality and participate in task acceptance.
• Test end-to-end business scenarios.
• Verify user roles, access permissions, and data accuracy.
• Identify functional, logical, and UX issues.
• Create clear and detailed bug reports in Jira.
• Participate in requirements analysis together with the Product Manager and development team.
• Use AI tools to generate test cases and test data and analyze defects.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Manual QA.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Ability to work with technical documentation and requirements.
• Strong analytical and systematic thinking, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility.
• Willingness to use AI in day-to-day work.

This role also involves not just being familiar with the topic, but actually implementing AI-driven approaches in QA:

• Using LLM tools to generate test cases and test data.
• Using AI to analyze logs and defects and speed up root-cause analysis.
• Automating routine QA tasks through AI agents and scripts.
• Researching and adapting new AI approaches in QA to the specifics of a PSP environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech, PSP, or banking.
• Understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Understanding of CI/CD fundamentals.
• Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for testing-related tasks.
