FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.

Main areas of work:

  • Betting/Gambling Platform Software Development — software development that is easy to use and personalized for each customer;
  • Highload Development — development of highly loaded services and systems;
  • CRM System Development — development of a number of services to ensure a high level of customer service, effective engagement of new customers and retention of existing ones;
  • Big Data — development of complex systems for processing and analysis of big data;
  • Cloud Services — we use cloud technologies for scaling and business efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in managerial roles (QA Lead or QA Manager).
  • Proven experience managing multi-level QA organizations (Managers, Leads, Engineers).
  • Expertise in QA methodologies, advanced risk-based testing, Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience setting up and analyzing quality and process metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing concepts; understanding of automation strategy integration.
  • Expertise with tools and technologies like Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, SQL, REST API testing, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of departmental goals, and drive complex initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

Nice to have:

  • Background in building QA Centers of Excellence (CoE) or quality frameworks or experience in scaling QA teams from 10 to 30+ employees.
  • Previous work in high-load, real-time systems (e.g., gaming, betting, fintech, e-commerce).
  • Hands-on background or strong collaboration with Test Automation and DevOps teams.
  • Certifications like ISTQB, Agile Testing, or equivalent.
  • Contributions to QA conferences, communities, or open-source projects.
  • Experience in managing both manual and automation QA streams in parallel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA Leads across multiple feature streams and product areas.
  • Define, implement, and optimize QA strategies, standards, and best practices across the stream/organization.
  • Set up and analyze quality metrics (defect leakage rate, test coverage, escaped defects, automation effectiveness) and drive continuous process improvements based on data insights.
  • Build a data-driven culture in QA: leverage KPIs to identify quality risks and ensure preventive actions.
  • Support and lead QA Leads: performance reviews, mentoring, Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
  • Drive cross-team initiatives on automation enhancement, test coverage expansion, and continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide leadership in resource management, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance development of QA staff.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Head of QA and leadership team, participating in high-level planning, roadmaps, and releases.
  • Ensure a proactive quality assurance approach aligned with business priorities and customer experience goals.
  • Lead audits of quality processes, perform root-cause analysis for production defects, and own corrective action plans.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within QA teams.
  • Own the communication of quality metrics and department health to executive stakeholders.
  • Plan and organize internal knowledge-sharing sessions, best practice sharing, trainings, and QA community activities.
