Initiate, revamp, and continuously refine the curriculum development process in one unified system.

We are looking for skilled, experienced, and proactive people, passionate about PHP programming and oriented to provide the best experience to the end user. The right candidate will work with other members from the USA and Ukraine product teams to design, develop, and maintain new and existing projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining the existing applications.
• Existing code support and development, new services implementation based on the provided specifications
• Documentation maintenance
• Log analysis, monitoring systems servicing;
• Interacting with the other teams (within the company and external) regarding the integration of the application and API.
• Database request optimization;
• Refactoring and code review;

Requirements

The position offered to candidates is Junior/Middle PHP Developer. It assumes 2+ years of software development expertise

Hard skills

Must have profound experience in:

• PHP 8.1+
• Laravel 10
• GIT

Nice to have

• Jenkins 2+
• Zend Framework 2
• VueJS 2
• RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL is a plus)
• MS SQL 2017
• Docker
• Knowledge of Amazon AWS services and API including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM
• Experience managing Windows Internet Information Server

Soft skills

• Strong communication skills with an ability to coordinate development with urgency.
• English — Upper intermediate (both: writing and oral)
• Proper remote presence & etiquette (acknowledging requests in a timely fashion over Slack, not leaving requests unacknowledged at all)
• Effective adherence to operating procedures (organizing day-to-day work and large-scale tasks in a calm manner with priority-driven sequencing)
• Readiness to coordinate work during business hours with the US West Coast team
