ManageBac a division of Faria, is looking for a Junior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our R&D team in Ukraine for new features development and maintaining the existing ManageBac application.

By providing schools with one unified system on a consistent, modern, and mobile-ready interface, ManageBac offers a seamless & integrated experience for coordinators, teachers, students, and parents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Develop new features of a Ruby on Rails-based web application, including front-end, under Team Lead supervision.
• Maintain an existing application in Ruby on Rails.
• Work with the support team to fix any bugs that arise in code.
• Interacting with the other teams (within the company and external) regarding the integration of the applications.

ABOUT YOU

• 1+ years of work experience in web application design and development with Ruby on Rails.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and SASS.
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Good understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Good Knowledge in OOP, Ruby on Rails, design patterns
• Good online communication skills in English (Slack, email).
