We’re looking to hire an Engineering Manager to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams and understands the technical side of development.

About the role

You will manage a distributed team of software engineers, working closely with product and technical leadership to ensure smooth delivery, team alignment, and continuous improvement. Your focus will be on people management, process optimization, and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software engineers
• Set goals, delegate tasks, and oversee timelines
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and technical leads
• Improve development workflows and team collaboration
• Monitor performance and support professional growth
• Ensure strong communication within the team and across departments
• Identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies
• Build a positive, inclusive, and productive team environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading software or QA engineering teams.
• Strong background in Agile delivery management and engineering workflows.
• Understanding of modern architectural concepts at a non-hands-on level.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing maturity, and quality practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain a high-performance engineering culture.
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in startups or fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with technologies such as Python, PHP, or React
• Certifications or training in Agile or project management
