Hard skills:
- 5+ years of PHP development experience and experience working with frameworks;
- Knowledge of the principles of building high-load and fault-tolerant systems;
- Experience in designing and using relational databases, understanding the principles of segmentation and replication;
- Docker experience;
- Experience working with git or analogues;
- Experience writing unit tests;
- Experience working with unix systems.
Would be a plus:
- Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of microservice architecture;
- Development experience in other languages, for example with C#/Go;
- Experience in building continuous integration schemes;
- REST API /JSON API development experience;
- Experience with Message Queuing/Broking;
- Passion for Computer Science;
- Understanding the basics of security and encryption;
- Understanding algorithms, including cryptographic ones.
Your tasks:
- Development of functionality within existing microservices, creation of new ones;
- Support and refinement of existing functionality. There is a part of the legacy in the monolithic part of the project, which we are sawing, refactoring and taking out to the services.
Our development flow:
- We investigate and describe how we will solve the task. If we touch on the old part of the code, then, if possible, we put time for refactoring;
- Planning a task in a sprint;
- Developing the functionality;
- We are conducting a review;
- We cover it with tests;
- Building a test environment (docker-compose);
- Final review;
- We give the task for testing;
- Deploy.
