Our customer’s project is a full-featured, secure MFT solution with robust, intelligent, and scalable functionality. It allows companies of all sizes to link easily with other servers and trade data securely, both internally and externally. Managed file transfer with the application gives companies the ability to seamlessly communicate across platform, across enterprise and across industry using any of the following protocols: FTP/FTPS, SFTP/SSH, HTTP(S), SMTP.
The application features include: dash boarding (real-time monitoring), auditing and tracking of messages, alerts and notifications, web-based mail boxing and many more.
It is a cross-platform, Java-based application. Exadel team proposed stack of technologies for the project based on jBoss technologies (Wildfly, Hibernate, Seam, JSF). Additionally, team applied UI framework based on RichFaces. It is easy to use and allows rapid GUI forms implementation. Also system utilized initially H2 as database so it was pretty easy to integrate it with any other DBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL since H2 uses native SQL queries. In addition, the application shows high performance and high stability in work, this was done by utilizing JMeter framework to test load on it. In addition, team made the application as a highly secure system for internal and external file transfer.
