We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our client’s dynamic team and lead Agile development practices for software projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Scrum principles, exceptional team facilitation skills, and technical expertise with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA. As a Scrum Master, you will ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The project will focus on Portfolio and Wealth Management, client onboarding, and AI integration with banking.

Their leadership boasts a rich tapestry of experiences, including ideation, building, and launching intricate digital capabilities within Canada’s premier financial institutions.
Responsibilities:
· Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Serve as a coach and mentor to the team on Agile practices, ensuring proper adherence to Scrum methodology.
· Manage and optimize the flow of work using Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA, including creating and maintaining backlogs, dashboards, and reports.
· Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs and ensure that stories are well-defined.
· Remove impediments and blockers, enabling the team to maintain focus on project goals.
· Foster a collaborative environment and encourage self-organization within the team.
· Track and communicate project status, risks, and key metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts).
· Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
· Promote continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and ensuring action items are addressed.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
· Proficiency with Agile tools, specifically Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA.
· Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application.
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
· Ability to coach and mentor team members on Agile practices.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
