We are looking for a Senior Rust Developer to join Erbis.
OUR CLIENT & PRODUCT
Our Client is from Germany. They have a platform that supports their clients in the digitization of their sales and consulting processes. The platform is competing with Zoom, Google Meet, etc collaboration platforms on the German market. The platform digitizes sales and customer service. Personal advice on all aspects of products that require explanation, such as mortgage lending and life insurance, at any time and completely independent of location? With this vision in mind, they developed the platform, which is now used by thousands of consultants from well-known banks, insurance companies and financial distributors for online customer advice.
—Maintain core backend components by writing new, clean and performant code and extending the existing functionality.
—Server / backend development primarily in Rust.
—Contribute to the CI / CD by automating build and deployment processes for server components.
—Excellent knowledge of Rust (real production experience).
—Several years of experience on server / backend development (including architecture).
—Good knowledge of C, Python and Shell scripting.
—Good knowledge and experience using and developing for Linux.
—Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
—Experience with Docker, GitLab CI / CD, and Ansible.
—Experience working with open source code bases (ideally contributions to Rust-related projects).
—Knowledge / experience with Redis, WebRTC (and Janus media server), GStreamer is a plus.
WOULD BE A PLUS:
—Agile mindset and experience with agile development practices.
—Knowledge of the Big O for algorithms and ability to make a proof of correctness.
—Functional programming enthusiast.
—BS or MS in CS or equivalent.
