🎯 Job Description
As a Design Team Lead (AI Focus), you’ll lead the design direction for our email marketing and newsletter ecosystem, combining strong visual standards, team leadership, and AI-powered workflows.

This role is for a hands-on leader who understands design as a performance lever, not just aesthetics. You’ll own design quality, scalability, and innovation across multiple newsletters, while actively implementing AI tools to accelerate production, testing, and design optimization

You’ll work closely with Email Marketing Managers, Content, Analytics, and the Operations teams, ensuring that design decisions directly support engagement, CTR, and revenue.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Quality

• Lead and mentor the design team within the Email Marketing Department
• Set and maintain visual, layout, and UX standards for newsletters, landing pages, and email assets
• Review, QA, and approve design outputs before launch

AI-Driven Design & Scalability

• Implement and scale AI tools for design generation, iteration, and optimization
• Build AI-assisted workflows for faster production of banners, visuals, layouts, and concepts
• Experiment with AI-generated creatives and optimize them based on performance data

Email & Newsletter Design Performance

• Own visual performance across newsletters (CTR, scroll depth, engagement signals)
• Collaborate with marketers and analysts to test layouts, formats, and visual hooks
• Ensure designs are mobile-first, clean, and conversion-oriented

Process & Collaboration

• Build repeatable processes, guidelines, and design systems for scale
• Collaborate closely with email marketing, content, and growth teams
• Balance hands-on design work with team leadership and strategic oversight
  
  

📌 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design (web, email, or digital marketing focus)
• Proven experience leading or mentoring designers
• Strong understanding of email design, newsletter layouts, and performance-driven visuals
• Hands-on experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
• Practical experience using AI tools for design, ideation, or production
• Strong understanding of layout, hierarchy, readability, and conversion-focused design
• Ability to manage multiple streams and priorities simultaneously
• Ownership mindset, high standards for quality, and strong attention to detail
• English level: В2 or higher

• Experience with A/B testing, design experiments, or performance iteration
• Familiarity with tools like Beehiiv, ClickFunnels, or similar platforms
