Senior/Lead Power BI Software Engineer

We’re seeking a data-driven Senior/Lead Power BI Software Engineer to join our growing team.

This position offers the chance to collaborate with clients spanning multiple industries, including Finance, Telecom, Media, Insurance, Oil&Gas, and Pharma.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated dashboards and reports
• Create data models while handling data preparation and profiling tasks
• Analyze business challenges and technical infrastructures in depth
• Oversee security protocols and administer the reporting system
• Contribute to architecture and testing workflows to guarantee adherence to best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Power BI experience
• Working knowledge of Python
• Strong grasp of Data Analytics and Data Visualization principles
• Demonstrated ability to create reports and dashboards
• Advanced SQL expertise with relational database experience (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of landing zones, staging areas, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake)
• Proven experience testing data products
• Comfort working within agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and standard practices
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency
