Необхідні навички

• 4+ years of relevant production experience;
• Solid experience with Puppet;
• Advanced experience on operating systems, linux and Windows;
• Experience with networking, data transfer, remote administration;
• Experience in setup of different data storage and indexing.

Обов’язки

• Configuration of Environment, servers, etc.;
• Writing puppet scripts of deployment process for Sensu plugins and Compass configuration for them;
• Configuration of NxLogs agents on monitored servers and add their configuration in to deployment process;
• Writing scripts for Linux (Solaris, RedHat) and Windows machines that are to be used in Sensu plugins;
• Writing automated import of Event Dictionary templates to Compass;
• Writing automated import of documentation to Compass;
• Supports developers, testers in accessing the legacy monitoring tools and Compass monitoring system.

Our client is a big multinational mass media and information firm.
The main focus would be to automate the ‘terraforming’ of the base infrastructure for all the services and also automate maintenance processes and deployment processes as far as possible.
