• Experienced Linux user (Linux core commands, processes, file system, permissions, networking)
• Ability to read/write bash scripts;
• Hands-on experience with Splunk and its components (Search Head, Indexer, universal and heavy forwarders, Deployment servers, etc);
• Hand-on experience with Splunk data flows (ingestion, storage, search(saved searches), optimization;
• Hand-on experience with Splunk knowledge objects (Alerts, lookups, synonyms, etc);
• Deep understanding of SPL and data models;
• Splunk authentication and authorization;
• Ability to create reports, and dashboards;
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Splunk.
• Python (2.x — 3.x) core is a big plus;
• Knowledge of Splunk premium solutions (ITSI, ES, UBA) is a big advantage.
