EPAM Dnipro is growing!

We are looking for a tech lead for a new project stream for a growing account (a global company cooperating with EPAM offices globally).

Сlient: top company in the global business information domain, a global provider of financial markets data and infrastructure. The team will be working with Israel division.

The project is about creating an intelligent platform and NLP models to process financial documents and data from decision-support systems. It is about utilizing language processing technology for analyzing, connecting and creating value from the information assets.

We will be building an application for extracting data from different documents, building and training the extraction models, using 3rd party NLP and ML libraries.

The team will contain both backend and frontend engineers and will be developing UI and backend in cooperation with NLP team.

The average team size will be up to 7-9 members.

Expected stack on the project (core technologies)
Java11, Scala, Spring5, Spring Boot, AWS (S3, SQS), AuroraDB, Dynamo DB, react.js, Kubernetes, Docker.
The stack may be modified in favor of more advanced technologies.

Our key expectations
• Problem solving and creative thinking (to suggest, discuss and drive technical decisions);
• Coordinating team activities from a technical perspective;
• 5+ years of Java development experience, strong Java core knowledge, multithreading, Spring;
• Experience with effective engineering processes;
• Client communications skills (including good spoken English);
• Interest for ML.
