EOS Data Analytics is looking for Project Manager to join its team.

EOS Data Analytics is a software company that works in the commercial space niche, with the main office in the USA and development centers in Ukraine (Kiev, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya).

We are developing a digital online platform for searching, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data retrieved from satellites. Using regular and custom algorithms, the system creates solutions to the challenges in business development and planet preservation. The tools developed by our team provide individual analytical solutions in agriculture, forestry, oil & gas, alternative energy, and other industries.

Our key products:

  • Crop Monitoring, a satellite-driven online platform for precision agriculture.
  • Forest Monitoring, a software for remote management of forest stands thanks to satellite monitoring.
  • Land Viewer, an online tool for working with satellite data.

Our team is looking for professionals who will help us bring space closer to humans and make their daily lives easier thanks to faster and better-informed decisions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project / Program / Delivery Manager / Scrum master,
  • leading several teams simultaneously;
  • Experience in managing teams of 20+ people;
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile activities: scope planning, assessing, setting priorities, cutting, etc.;
  • Identifying risks, grooming, refinement, tracking results, demo, retro, change management;
  • Solid understanding of team rituals: setting tasks, motivation, control, positive communication, conflicts solving, routine importance, etc.
  • Proficient in process documentation and project management tracking tools — Atlassian stack
  • Hands-on experience with setting up and constant improvement of performance metrics, as well as delivery processes on a way to increase the team performance;
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and deal with uncertainty;
  • Experience in risk analysis, analysis of problem areas and proposals for their improvement;
  • Ensure delivery transparency for key stakeholders;
  • Understanding of MVP approach;
  • Upper Intermediate+ written and spoken English.

Would be a plus:

  • Technical background;
  • Agile certification;
    Experience in managing mobile development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple development teams (3+);
  • Own project plan for the development teams;
  • Lead and improve delivery processes such as release planning, quality of product, deployment, backlog grooming, sprint planning, task creation, prioritization, and so on;
    Facilitate meetings, resolve issues, drive feedback, and cultivate open communication within the team;
  • Motivate team members to work together in the most efficient manner, foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the teams;
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to keep everyone informed timely and accurately on the state of delivery using data and reporting;
  • Timely report risks and issues tracking and mitigation with development teams
    Maintain project documentation;
  • Clarify requirements, ensuring clarity and sufficiency of those;
  • Drive and monitor progress of the project, take responsibility to deliver the project on time;
  • Cooperate closely with the Product Managers in their daily product support activities as well as on functional development level;
  • Grow Agile maturity within development team members as well as Product Managers;
  • Conduct performance evaluation of project team members, provide employee performance feedback to department heads; provide input for employee career development planning.
