As a member of a creative team, our content writer will write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the SEO, marketing, product, and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each product/service, branding, and marketing goals. The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style.

Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and industry trends
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Research and understand the product’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, skype calls, and in-person meetings
Write original copy and edit content for a range of materials
Collaborate with a team of product managers, designers, and marketing staff from concept development to delivery of a final product
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to an internal team, and participate in product pitches on occasion
Revise copy based on internal feedback
Skills and Qualifications:
Fluent English is a must
Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
Strong research skills
The ability to work to strict deadlines without compromising work quality
Experience in writing smart, long-form articles
Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
Social media or content marketing experience is a plus
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
