EOS Data Analytics is the product company, with headquarters in the USA, California, and development centers in Ukraine — Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya. The digital online platform offers simple and reliable tools for searching, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from satellites — both free and high-resolution images as a reseller.

EOS Data Analytics is looking for a talented and independent Python Developer!

Required skills:
— 4+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer, including deploying and maintaining code in a production environment;
— experience with Python 3.4+ & frameworks (e.g. numpy, gdal, pandas etc.);
— experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL;
— good coding techniques: re-usability of code, code optimized for performance, ability to work with legacy code, code refactoring techniques;
— development environment: Unix/Linux;
— algorithms and data structures;
— infrastructure: AWS console;
— other: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, bash.

Typical work activities will usually include some or all of the following:
— software development (design, programming, testing, analyzing) for satellite imagery processing tasks;
— design and implementation of components/modules for satellite data extraction, storage, and manipulation;
— development of new RnD software and supporting it;
— testing, documentation, and dockerization of your code.

Will be appreciated:
— working knowledge of Django/Flask;
— asyncio, aiohttp;
— testing: unit-tests;
— English level >pre intermediate.
