Engenious, US-based Consulting agency with a global presence and expertise in Mobile Development and Testing has a fantastic opportunity to join the world-class team at Grammarly as a QA analyst for their flagman mobile team.
Open Role:
As QA Analyst, you will be integrated into their mobile engineering team, where you will collaborate with dev, automation, design, and leadership teams to build and sustain best-quality practices/processes to ensure high-quality standards for their regular release cadence.
What will you do?
- Plan and execute the project’s release and testing activities
- Work with the engineering team on designing test cases for a new features
- Perform testing activities during the development cycle including analytics, functional, UI, compatibility, and performance testing
- Participate in scrum rituals — standup, planning, retrospective meetings
- Attend and drive bug triages, showcase, post-mortem meetings
- Convert high priority bugs into test automation backlog tasks for the automation team
- Work with EMs/PMs from the client-side to orchestrate testing activities
- Work in conjunction with automation team on test coverage and backlog grooming
Skills, Experience and Role Expectations:
- 3+ years of experience in testing with a focus on iOS Native apps (Last 2 years of working with native apps is a must)
- Hands-on experience with Charles Proxy/Fiddler/Proxyman
- Analytics testing
- Web sockets
- Rewriting network requests
- Breakpoints
- Testing negative server-side scenarios
- Controlling server-side experiments
- Experience with Swagger/Postman testing backend services
- Proficient with Xcode and its utilities
- Building app against various API versions
- Collecting logs
- Network speed simulation
- Ability to using xcodebuild and simctl command line utilities
- Fundamental knowledge of using GitHub or similar code repositories
- Knowledge of development and testing life cycle
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English (B2+)
It will be a plus:
Experience in Android testing
- Feel comfortable to navigate around Android studio
- Using ADB utility for installing apk, collecting logs, and getting files in and out of device
- Memory profiling
- Building various AVDs
