Middle .NET Developer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a motivated Middle .NET Developer to join our team on an exciting project at the intersection of technology and professional training.

The Project is a platform developed for a company specializing in audiovisual systems and software solutions for simulation-based training. The platform serves training centers, healthcare institutions, and other educational environments by enabling end-to-end management of simulation sessions — from recording and streaming to monitoring and analytics. You’ll be joining a real-world product with meaningful impact, working on backend services that power integrations, real-time communication, and data exchange across the system.

Tech requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with C# / .NET backend development.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and backend service development.
• Practical experience with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and clean code principles.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
• Familiarity with real-time communication concepts such as SignalR, WebSockets, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to read, understand, and safely extend an existing codebase.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers, product stakeholders, and other team members.
• English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher (ability to communicate with the team, write documentation, commits, and participate in written discussions). Ukrainian — fluent.

Nice to have:

• Experience with RavenDB or other document databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, database migration, indexing, or query optimization.
• Familiarity with microservice communication, background jobs, or event-driven architecture.
• Experience with medical simulation, OSCE/examination workflows, assessment systems, or education/training platforms.
• Experience with AV systems, streaming protocols, real-time data exchange, or medical device integration.
• Experience with AI, analytics, or external service integrations.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
• Develop and extend REST APIs and real-time communication endpoints such as SignalR or WebSockets.
• Work with application data storage, including RavenDB and planned PostgreSQL-related changes.
• Support reliable data exchange between recording servers, frontend applications, integrations, and external services.
• Implement logging, error handling, validation, and performance improvements.
• Investigate bugs, analyze production issues, and contribute to long-term codebase stability.
• Maintain and improve existing functionality while minimizing regressions.
• Write and maintain automated tests as part of the development process.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product stakeholders, and other team members to deliver new features and integrations.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
