Empeek is currently looking for a QA Generalist to join a project with a U.S. based client — a global leader in ticketing and tour sales for the world’s biggest events in sports, music, and culture. Their partners include the Olympic Games, NFL, UFC, NASCAR, and other high-profile global events. A long-term, stable project with a strong and experienced team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of testing experience
- Web application testing experience
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques
- API testing experience
- Experience creating testing documentation (test cases, checklists)
- Experience making bug reports
- Experience in JavaScript automation must have (at least one year of recent hands-on experience)
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Familiar with test management tools (TestRail) and bug tracking tools (Jira)
- Experience with working in an Agile environment, familiar with Scrum methodology
- Database understanding and experience in writing SQL queries
- English — Upper-Intermediate+ / Advanced
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to identify bugs and issues.
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests using JavaScript-based testing frameworks
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documents to develop effective test cases
