Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a technical background in IT (e.g., QA, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Developer) who possess strong organizational and documentation skills and are looking to transition into a Business Analyst role. Previous experience as a Business Analyst is not required, but a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in IT is preferred. Candidates must have excellent English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced).

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in Discovery Phases

• Collaborate with the Lead Business Analyst to conduct discovery sessions with clients.
• Assist in gathering and documenting initial business and technical requirements.

Documentation of Functional Requirements

• Prepare detailed, clear, and concise functional requirement documents.
• Ensure documentation adheres to the project’s scope and client expectations.
• ERD, ULM and data flow diagrams creation and management

Supporting Backlog Management

• Assist in managing the backlog for support projects.
• Acceptance criteria development and assisting in UAT
• Document and track new change requests from clients.

Collaboration in UX Phases

• Work closely with UX engineers during the UX phase of projects.
• Ensure all UX designs align with documented requirements.

Development Team Collaboration

• Serve as a point of communication between the development team, Lead BA and stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support and clarification of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Assistance in Estimations and Requirement Decomposition

• Support in product estimations and breaking down high-level requirements into smaller, actionable tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Background

• Experience in IT roles such as QA, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Developer.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies or backlog management tools like Jira or Trello or similar.

Language Skills

• Excellent English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced).

Organizational Skills

• Strong ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage documentation.

Documentation Skills

• Ability to create well-structured, detailed, and clear documentation.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Magento, Shopify or bigCommerce
• Postman API testing
