About Project:

Our client, a Solution Provider in STM Publishing, specializes in Open Access publishing activities and the transition to Open Access. Their project involves implementing and customizing free, open-source tools to create innovative solutions. Working with publishers, institutions, and funders, the team composition consists of 5 individuals including back-end and front-end developers, a project manager, and a DevOps expert. Together, they collaborate to drive progress and deliver exceptional results in the ever-evolving landscape of STM publishing and Open Access initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining web applications;
• Create efficient and secure code using best practices;
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure the application is scalable and performant;
• Troubleshoot and debug web applications;
• Self-testing of created code.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency (min 3 years of working experience) in Node.js, Typescript/Javascript;
• Experience with Serverless Framework is a must;
• Practical experience with AWS services is a must, including Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Fargate, S3, SSM, VPC networking, SNS, Cognito, API Gateway, Cloudwatch;
• Intermediate strong level of English.

Would be a plus:

• PostgreSQL and ​​​Docker knowledge.
