About project:

The project involves developing a robust cloud service designed for content owners to distribute their video content to various streaming platforms such as Prime Video, AppleTV, Comcast, and Vimeo. The system enables customers to manage licenses, metadata, and multimedia files, ensuring compliance with the unique requirements of each streaming platform. With approximately 30,000 assets and 200TB of video material in their data center, the сlient emphasizes scalability and efficiency, aiming to minimize support needs and streamline customer onboarding processes.

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer for our client team. This role requires a balance of coding expertise in frontend and backend. The ideal candidate will be able to take high-level requirements, review current features and propose a solution for the new feature before doing the actual development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement features using C# and React.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the development team.
• Maintain and enforce a consistent development structure to ensure scalability and maintainability of the product.
• Enhance the user management system by adding user “profiles” and notification subscription capabilities.
• Lead the migration of the user database from MS SQL to PostgreSQL.
• Consolidate four separate user databases into a single, unified database.
• Improve access control by implementing more granular user permissions.
• Upgrade the user interface to improve user management and enable customized notification preferences.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer with a strong coding background.
• Proficiency in C# programming language and .NET 8 framework.
• Frontend development experience using React.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Postgres databases.
• Experience with central logging tools like Datadog.
• Experience from work with security. User authentications, protecting APIs and protecting data storages, databases and video files.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS) and container hosting services.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to find good solutions with a team of developers.
• High proficiency in English (minimum level B2).
• Understanding of Swedish work culture and consensus-driven models.
