ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for Senior Java Developer in all our locations and remote.

About Client

Our customer is a key sparring partner and service provider for a range of industries. Among its clients are high-tech manufacturing and food companies (such as ASML and Heineken), energy industry players (from windmill operators to power plants), heavy vehicle manufacturers (making cars, ships, or airplanes), construction firms, medicine production businesses, and more.

For these clients, our customer provides a wide range of technical products (for instance hoses and valves), co-engineering, customization solutions, and related services. Technical teams are at customers’ beck and call for sophisticated support and advice — from design to smart maintenance. And on the local webshops, customers can easily order tools or component parts.

Technologies used: Java, Spring, JUnit, Mockito, Azure Service BUS

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in working with Java
• Thorough understanding of Spring and its core principles (data, security, contracts, etc)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Relevant experience with cloud development platforms. Azure platform a big plus
• Strong TDD mindset — unit, integration and E2E
• Experienced in our preferred stack: Java + Spring, Testing with Junit, Mockito, Git
• At least Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into production-grade code
• Overcome technical challenges within the back end architecture and align on the integrations with our front end architect and with other micro-services
• Work on bugs and customer feedback in a way that makes our customers happy
• Is not afraid to contact stakeholders to create the best solution
• Handling professional communication with all (senior) stakeholders involved
• Able to solve technical challenges
• Experience in agile development methodologies
