ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our community.

About our PMO

Our PMs are responsible for the full project management life cycle. They set the project in motion by making the initial arrangements with a customer, guiding the idea’s inception, and participating in budget negotiations. Once the project is launched, the PM takes full control over its operations and delivery, sharing the responsibility for its financial success with the rest of the stakeholders. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for suggesting business improvements to customers and leading the implementation of suitable initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of Project management experience
• Strong experience in executing fixed-price projects
• Practical experience in using of EVM model
• Proficient understanding of Agile frameworks, Waterfall
• Familiar with PMBOK guide
• Proven experience to manage distributed frontend, backend, QA, BA, DevOps distributed teams, established reliable collaboration and capacity management
• Strong understanding of SDLC, especially CI/CD and release process
• People management, performance review, staffing
• Solid experience of using different planning\tracking (Atlassian stack) tools
• Perfect understanding of IT system and project life-cycles
• Proven knowledge of project management principles
• Proven understanding of project financial aspects — profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resources utilization
• Advanced English

Main Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project development from project initiation to closure within budget, schedule and resource limits
• Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project
• Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plans throughout the project life. Ensure timely revision of project plan to meet changing needs and requirements
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, review deliverables and milestones prepared by a team
• Forecast, track and manage project budgets, ensure timely invoicing
• Define, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
• Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
• Serve as liaison between company and client for the overall project and support activities. Develop lasting relationships with client’s representatives that foster trust and goodwill
• Identify project resources necessary and partner with other company managers to acquire resources
• Act as a mentor to Project Coordinators and other team members; inspire collaboration and teamwork
• Assists in the ongoing development of the Project Management Office. Recommend improvements to project management policies/procedures where needed
• Assist the PMO with performing project team assessments and evaluations
