Web & Mobile Accessibility Compliance Consultant (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Web & Mobile Accessibility Compliance Consultant with deep expertise in accessibility standards and hands-on experience in accessibility testing tools. The consultant will support our team in scoping accessibility efforts, selecting the right tools, executing accessibility audits, and providing remediation guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in scoping call with the Client to define accessibility testing needs (standards, scope, platforms, critical workflows)
- Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits for web and mobile applications against WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and other relevant standards
- Use assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers) to validate accessibility for users with disabilities
- Provide compliance reports, including mapping to WCAG/Section 508 success criteria
- Recommend and support implementation of remediation steps (HTML/ARIA fixes, design adjustments, best practices)
- Assist in tool selection and setup for automated and manual accessibility testing
- Optionally — deliver training or knowledge transfer to internal and Client’s teams
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Hands-on experience with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Hands-on experience with assistive technologies (Switch Access, Voice Control)
- Hands-on experience with validation tools (Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, ARIA validators)
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, CSS, and JavaScript accessibility considerations
- Experience preparing compliance reports (e.g., VPATs) and remediation guidelines
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with Development, Design, and QA teams
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher (both written and spoken)
