We’re looking for a practical Project Manager / Delivery Manager who loves the energy of fast-moving environments, tackles challenges with no fear, and knows how to lead with confidence. You will work with our Customer — a leading SaaS and data analytics company for energy exploration decision support, helping the Oil & Gas industry to achieve results better and faster. The Company’s predictive decision platform combines intelligence, analytics, tools, and services in one seamless system to deliver value at every stage of the E&P process.

In this role, you will contribute to the company’s growth by being responsible for a primarily assigned project and accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects within your designated accounts.

This work involves a balance of project and people management, delivery oversight, financial accountability, operational excellence, participating in both pre-sales and up-sales, and leading project kick-offs.

Responsibilities:

  • Be directly responsible for managing a primary project, driving its full lifecycle from initiation to completion
  • Be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations. This includes overseeing Project Managers who are responsible for individual projects
  • Optimize project processes in line with company standards
  • Oversee budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with company goals (including monthly client invoices)
  • Manage final deliverables and project handoffs to meet customer expectations
  • Provide in-depth reports, including performance metrics, risk analysis, and project updates for senior leadership
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal teams on timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to build lasting business partnerships
  • Consistently pursue opportunities to enhance CSAT and customer relationships
  • Lead negotiations, manage conflicts and escalations, and address stakeholder concerns
  • Identify and lead upsell opportunities; participate in pre-sales activities to drive growth
  • Deliver projects successfully under different contract types (with focus on fixed-price projects)
  • Build and manage distributed software development teams with skills and roles aligned to project and company goals
  • Oversee the full employee cycle (staffing, onboarding/offboarding, rotations, assignments, releases)
  • Collaborate with HR on performance and salary reviews
  • Foster collaboration and lead initiatives to improve eSAT
  • Report directly to the Account Manager with regular project updates and insights
  • Drive efficiency to enhance service delivery and achieve cost and time savings
  • Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Managers, providing guidance and coaching
  • Participate in Project Management Competency initiatives
  • Maintain a proactive approach to work

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in IT Project Management within an outsourcing environment, with a proven track of managing multiple projects successfully
  • Experience in business development, including upselling and stakeholder management
  • Mastery of SDLC, project management methodologies, including scaled frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) and contract types (especially fixed-price E2E)
  • Proficiency in budget forecasting, resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis, and understanding of how quality-related costs affect overall project performance
  • Requirements management skills (writing clear user stories) with functional and non-functional requirements and/or willingness to learn this area
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members from different countries in the use of Scrum and/or other Agile frameworks
  • Experience working in international environment
  • Experience using standard project management tools to track and manage progress
  • Sense of ownership and accountability, combined with strong leadership
  • Critical thinking to analyze complex situations and determine the appropriate course of action
  • Capability of self-directed work with proper risk and issue escalation
  • Ability to quickly learn and adjust to evolving processes and requirements
  • Technical background: a QC Engineer, Software Engineer, or Support Engineer experience
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
