We’re opening the position of a Junior Data Engineer to work with our Client — a leading energy sector analytics company, as they expand their innovative data products that revolutionize document analysis. As a Data Engineer, you will focus on executing defined tasks to support the Client’s data product coverage. Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services, under the guidance of Senior Engineers
- Support the enhancement of courthouse data products by performing data analysis and ensuring data accuracy
- Use SQL extensively to query, manipulate, and analyze data, contributing to the development of impactful data solutions
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows
- Focus on data analysis and SQL-based tasks to ensure data quality and consistency
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing the existing data pipelines and systems
- Execute clearly defined engineering tasks, working closely with senior team members
- Support the integration and validation of data sources into our data systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing product development
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, data analysis, or a related role
- Solid experience with relational database systems, particularly MS SQL Server
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python for basic data manipulation and scripting
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the field of Data Engineering
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow defined processes
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with tools like Databricks or similar data engineering platforms
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
