Senior General QA / Test Automation Engineer (Python)

We’re opening the position of a General QA / Test Automation Engineer to work with our Client — a leading energy sector analytics company, as they expand their innovative data products that revolutionize document analysis. You’ll work closely with a talented team of Engineers to ensure high-quality data solutions. Here, you’ll find a culture that values collaboration and encourages learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Own and execute end-to-end QA processes for ETL pipelines, including thorough data validation (inputs, outputs, transformations, and business rules)
• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch
• Proactively identify, report, and troubleshoot issues across large datasets and distributed systems
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely delivery and high quality of features
• Operate independently and take full ownership of QA responsibilities within the team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in ETL process QA and data validation
• Strong knowledge of Python and PySpark for scripting and automation
• Excellent SQL skills for data querying and validation
• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly S3
• Practical knowledge of Databricks for working with big data
• English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Elasticsearch and its querying capabilities
