We are looking for a Junior Strong Manual Test Engineer to join one of our Scrum teams developing a product that helps people with disabilities communicate with the people they want to communicate with. Our project is used by sign language interpreters from the USA and other English-speaking countries. This project is sponsored by the government. It is no longer a startup, this project has become one of the most necessary solutions for people who are not able to hear.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web applications
- Create, maintain, and manage test documentation (test cases, checklists)
- Contribute to defining testing strategies and improve overall product quality
- Collaborate with Engineers, Test Engineers, Designers, BA, etc.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of work with relevant experience
- Good understanding of QA methodologies and practices
- Expertise in reviewing software requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with Postman and DevTools
- Knowledge of API and client-server architecture
- Experience making bug reports and writing technical documentation
- Experience with Jira and TestRail
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with basic requests
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
Will be a plus:
- Basic knowledge of SQL
