Senior Software Developer (Ruby) (вакансія неактивна)

We’re opening the position of a Senior Software Developer to cooperate with our Client who is a leading provider of innovative safety solutions for schools and educational institutions. We are looking for an experienced Ruby Developer to work on Data Analytics API service.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross-discipline Scrum team to achieve sprint goals and longer-term department and company goals
• Work closely with Support and Product teams to deliver high-quality software that supports the achievement of the Company goals and increases customer satisfaction and retention
• Do pair and individual programming to implement features and solve bugs
• Help colleagues to deliver the highest levels of internal and external customer satisfaction
• Contribute to code that only mostly does not require material feedback or implementation changes
• Follow the existing patterns and approaches in the codebases
• Improve product security, quality, maintainability, and performance
• Implement features, bugfixes, enhancements, and system designs
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to other Engineers
• Contribute to Scrum events
• As a part of the team, deliver what was committed to at the beginning of each Sprint

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Ruby/RoR
• Strong experience with the RESTful API approach
• Strong experience with relational databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience working in an Agile team
• Excellent communication skills
• English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Vue.js
