Report Developer / Data Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We’re opening the position of a Report Developer / Data Engineer to work with our Client who is a leading provider of innovative safety solutions for schools and educational institutions. Their mission is to enhance the security and well-being of school communities by delivering cutting-edge technology solutions.

Location in the UK is required.

Responsibilities:

• Build advanced-level dashboards and reports (using Direct Query/Live Connection)
• Design and build data models, conduct data preparation and profiling
• Perform the detailed analysis of business problems, building visuals that reflect answers to them
• Manage security and administrate the reporting environment (row level, report level, workspace level, etc.)
• Participate in architecture and testing processes to ensure they meet best practice specifications

Requirements:

• 2+ years of practical experience with one of the reporting tools — Power BI (preferably), Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense, Tibco Spotfire, or other
• Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Visualization concepts
• Skills in developing reports and dashboards
• Good understanding of complex DAX, building dynamic measures in Power BI
• Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security, and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart)
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (preferably Azure)
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban)
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
• English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Production experience with Azure Data Fabric and a background in relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse
