We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with deep expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and strong understanding of process manufacturing, specifically within the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries.

This role involves working closely with the Customers to analyze and translate their manufacturing process optimization needs into prioritized technical requirements. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with data, proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures, and capable of collaborating across functions to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Clients to thoroughly understand their manufacturing processes, challenges, and goals and translate these into clear and actionable technical requirements
  • Work with the Software Engineering Team to develop and refine SPC software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the Customers in process manufacturing; ensure alignment with Client’s objectives, priorities, and industry trends
  • Lead the deployment and integration of SPC software within the existing manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal disruption
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to manage, analyze, and aggregate manufacturing data for process optimization
  • Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of software applications to ensure robustness, accuracy, and reliability
  • Provide ongoing technical support and training to the Customers; create detailed user documentation and manuals
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in SPC, data analytics, and process manufacturing; propose and implement continuous improvements to both software and processes
  • Work closely with Product Development, Sales, Customer Support, and other teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years in Data Science Engineering, with a focus on SPC software and process manufacturing
  • Strong experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases; proficiency in at least one programming language such as .NET, Java, or Python
  • Solid understanding of SPC methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply these in a process manufacturing context
  • Ability to dissect complex problems, analyze data, and devise effective solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, balancing multiple priorities and driving towards common goals

Will be a plus:

  • SPC certification or relevant industry certifications
  • Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in process manufacturing
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams
